The Many Uses of Ginkgo Biloba

Ginkgo biloba nearly went extinct years ago if it weren’t for a group of monks dedicated to preserving this plant for future generations. These monks were wise, they didn’t preserve this plant because it was any old regular plant. This plant has great medicinal value to modern civilization now more than ever.

With more and more mind altering chemicals being placed in our food the simple addition of ginkgo biloba tea or supplement can give you a range of benefits including:

  • Ginkgo is used as a brain tonic. It enhances memory. This can be partially attributed to its blood thinning properties which increases blood flow to the brain and other organs
  • Ginkgo Biloba contains various antioxidants that combat free radical activity and help protect your body from radiation.
  • Ginkgos benefit to blood flow reduces the risk of stroke.
  • A study using healthy people taking a dose of ginkgo for 6 weeks showed improved memory compared to the placebo group.

Ginkgo increases your grasp on reality by improving brain function. It improves alertness and is often used as a smart drug for people learning or people with disabilities.

Ginkgo biloba can help anyone at any stage of life.

Thanks for following my blog. Ginko Biloba is great. I used to give my kids two in the evening when they crammed for exams, and two the next morning before they took the exams. In every single instance, they were alert and did much better than when they didn’t take it. Great stuff!
