Health Benefits of Bee Pollen

Datei:Bee-pollen-macro - Virginia - ForestWander.jpgBee pollen is an incredibly healthy food substance. It is one of the most nutrient dense things one could consume. I would class it as a super food.

Not only is it nutrient dense, it contains nutrients and constituents that you do not commonly get.

Pollen is the seed of the flower of a plant, it is all of the energy put into a potential next generation. Bees collect this and combine it with honey which is incredibly rich in enzymes. This changes the structure of the pollen and takes it from a healthy food to a super food.

After reading health benefits below you can see why bee pollen is an extremely effective alternative to synthetic vitamin supplements!

Health Benefits of Bee Pollen include:

  • By weight more protein than meat and eggs.
  • Some bee pollen contains b12, the amount depends on a variety of factors including processing temperature, location, etc.
  • Bee pollen contains vitamin A, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, C, D, E and K (and probably more).
  • Rich in enzymes and co-enzymes. Enzymes are necessary to break apart bonds between fats, carbohydrates, proteins and nutrients. They improve assimilation and digestion of your food.
  • Bee pollen contains choline, copper, iodine, zinc,  sulfur, selenium, molybdenum, magnesium and various other trace elements that people are often deficient in.
  • Bee pollen is known as a treatment for allergies. Because it is made of pollen those with allergies can eat a small amount and gain resistance to their allergy over time.
  • Bee pollen can improve fertility of males and females. This is the potential next generation of a plant taken to the next level after all.
  • Rich in lecithin, bee pollen is incredibly useful for improving various skin disorders, cognitive disorders including but not limited to depression, dementia and Alzheimer disease.
  • High quality fatty acids are found in bee pollen.

As you can see bee pollen is an incredible food! It may be the key to the next level of your health. There are so many aspects to this food that can help so many people in so many situations.

This food does have a risk of allergic reaction, I myself had a reaction when I first took bee pollen (I took 2 heaped spoonfuls the first time!). Since then my reaction has disappeared as my health improved over time through healthy eating and lifestyle practices. Be sure to get the bee pollen from an ethical source that is not heat treated, local is best because it will immunize you to your local area. Start with a single granule to test for allergic reaction and slowly build up.

This is why we must stop immediately with the use of #Bayer, #BASF pesticides and #Monsanto GMO products. We need the bees. As Einstein once said “If there aren’t any bees, there wouldn’t have been people”.
