Potatoes are the carbohydrate staple of many people.

Potatoes aren’t the best things for us but they aren’t bad by any means.

  • Potatoes are a source of iodine. Usually iodine is only found in sea vegetables.
  • Potatoes are also a good source of manganese, potassium, vitamin B6 and vitamin C.
  • Potatoes are healthy baked, steamed or fried in a healthy oil (coconut oil, grapeseed oil)
  • Potatoes can lower blood pressure.
