Liver is an amazingly healthy food that not many people consume these days. It is looked apon as disgusting but people fail to realize that liver is a nutritional powerhouse.

The health benefits of liver include:

  • Incredibly high in vitamin A. This is good for eyesight and other bodily functions.
  • Liver contains vitamin B12. This is a nutrient many people have trouble getting.
  • Liver also contains various other B vitamins.
  • Liver is a good source of copper, selenium, phosphorus, zinc, iron, manganese, magnesium, potassium, calcium and sodium.
  • There is an unidentified “anti fatigue factor” within liver which can help people with lethargy.

Always source organic grass fed animal liver over grain fed. Animals aren’t meant to eat grains, when they are fed grains their body becomes toxic. Grass fed animals have better nutrition.
