Vitamin B1 – Thiamine

Vitamin B1 is a water soluble vitamin. It is found most commonly in yeast, while wheat flour, oats, flax, brown rice, asparagus, oranges and a variety of other foods.

There is no real toxicity from too much B1. There are a variety of symptoms that can be relieved by supplementing vitamin B1 or eating foods with B1.

Vitamin B1 is necessary to change macronutrients (protein, cab, fat) to energy. With inadequate vitamin B1 or any other vitamin you will have ill effects.
